# Bots: rules you pick

Buy on a schedule, buy dips, protect a position, trail a stop, take profits in steps, trade a range. Each one works inside the caps you set and runs while the wallet is open. New bots start on paper, so you see what one would have done before it spends anything.

## Six rules to pick from

Plain rule-based bots, with no AI involved. You see every setting before a bot starts.

- ### Steady buyer

Buys a fixed dollar amount on a schedule.

- ### Buy the dip

Buys after a drop, sells after a recovery.

- ### Protect a position

    Stop-loss and take-profit together.

- ### Trailing stop

Follows the price up, sells after a fall from the high.

- ### Take-profit ladder

Sells in three steps as the price rises.

- ### Grid trader

Buys each level on the way down, sells a level higher.

## Tried on paper first

A new bot trades pretend money first, so you see what it would have done before it spends anything. Drag its lines on the chart to set it up, and replay it over the last 30 days of prices before it starts.

15 s

between price checks while the wallet is open

30 days

of prices to replay a bot over before it starts

0.5%

swap fee, the same as any swap

- Each bot shows its trades, failures and result, on a price chart that marks where it buys and sells.
- It trades inside your caps: a most-per-swap, a most-per-day and a slippage cap. Changing them needs your password.
- Bots run while the wallet is open. Sending funds out needs your password every time, so a bot can’t move money out of the wallet.

## Or let Autopilot pick

Rather not choose the rules? Every half hour Autopilot reads prices, funding, news and Fear & Greed, tests every strategy on paper first, and goes live only once it beat holding USDC after fees. It writes down its reasons for every change.

Autopilot is coming soon. Each decision costs $0.005 in USDC, only when the market moved: about $1 to $3 a month.
