# TOLLkit Wallet terms of service

For the TOLLkit Wallet browser extension and apps. Effective October 20, 2026.

Last updated October 20, 2026.

**In short:** TOLLkit Wallet is software that runs on your device. You hold your own keys and funds; TOLLkit never does, can’t recover them, and can’t undo a transaction. Every fee is shown before you confirm. Prices move, bots and AI can be wrong, and you’re responsible for what you approve.

## 1\. Who we are and this agreement

TOLLkit Wallet is made by Tollkit LLC, a Maryland limited liability company (“TOLLkit”, “we”). By installing or using TOLLkit Wallet you agree to these terms and to our [privacy policy](/wallet/privacy/). If you don’t agree, don’t use it. Questions: [hello@tollkit.dev](mailto:hello@tollkit.dev).

## 2\. What TOLLkit Wallet is

- **Self-custody.** Your recovery phrase and keys are created and kept on your device, encrypted with your password. TOLLkit never has them and never holds your funds.
- **No recovery.** If you lose your recovery phrase and password, TOLLkit can’t restore your wallet. Nobody from TOLLkit will ever ask for your phrase.
- **No undo.** Blockchain transactions are final. TOLLkit can’t cancel, reverse or refund a transaction you approved, including one sent to a wrong address.
- **Not a bank, broker or exchange.** TOLLkit doesn’t hold deposits, execute trades for you as a broker, or run an exchange. Swaps are filled by outside services on the blockchain, from your own wallet.

## 3\. Who can use it

You must be at least 18 and able to agree to these terms. You may not use TOLLkit Wallet if you are on a U.S. sanctions list, are owned or controlled by someone who is, or are in a country or region under comprehensive U.S. sanctions, such as Cuba, Iran, North Korea, or the Crimea, Donetsk and Luhansk regions of Ukraine. You’re responsible for following the laws where you live. We may block addresses, regions or features to comply with the law, and the wallet refuses to send funds or pay for tools at addresses on the U.S. Treasury’s sanctions list.

## 4\. Fees

Every fee is shown before you confirm.

- **Swaps:** 0.5% of the trade, included in the quote. The swap service may charge its own fee, also included in the quote; for example, 0x charges 0.15% on swaps of some token pairs.
- **Moving USDC or ETH between networks:** 0.25%, plus the bridge’s own fee.
- **TOLLkit’s built-in AI:** $0.02 a step, or $0.04 a step on the Smart model, paid from your wallet in USDC. Using your own AI app costs nothing extra.
- **Buying and cashing out:** handled by Coinbase, which shows its own fees and amounts before you confirm.
- **Sending, receiving and staking:** no TOLLkit fee. The network’s own fee applies.

We may change our fees. A change applies only to transactions quoted after it.

## 5\. Other services the wallet uses

Some features rely on services TOLLkit doesn’t run, each with its own terms: Coinbase (buying and cashing out, including its identity checks), 0x and Jupiter (swaps; Solana swaps are powered by Jupiter), Circle and Across (moving funds between networks), Anthropic’s Claude (the built-in AI), and the Base, Ethereum and Solana networks. We don’t control them and aren’t responsible for their availability, prices, decisions or errors.

## 6\. Swaps, bots and automation

- You choose every bot, rule and setting, and the limits it runs inside. Bots follow your rules; they don’t predict prices.
- Prices can change between a quote and a trade. A swap fills within the slippage you set or doesn’t fill. A bot may fill late, at a worse price, or not at all, for example when the wallet is closed, a network is busy, or you don’t have enough for fees.
- Charts, replays over past prices, the bot board and other people’s results are information, not a promise of future results.
- **Keep running when closed** (optional, off unless you turn it on): you sign permissions on the blockchain that let TOLLkit’s server place only the swaps your rules describe, from your own wallet, within the token, amount, time and minimum-received limits you signed. You can revoke them at any time. TOLLkit’s server can be down or delayed, so a rule may not run on time or at all.

## 7\. AI features

When you use the built-in chat you’re talking to an AI (Claude, made by Anthropic). AI can be wrong or out of date, so check important facts yourself before relying on them. AI suggestions are general information, not personal advice about what to buy or sell. Nothing the AI suggests runs until you approve it, and an AI connected to your wallet works inside your limits and can’t withdraw funds.

## 8\. Not financial advice

Nothing in TOLLkit Wallet is investment, financial, legal or tax advice. Token checks report facts read from the blockchain; they are not ratings, and no warnings doesn’t mean a token is safe. You decide what to buy, sell or hold.

## 9\. Risks

Crypto assets can lose most or all of their value quickly. Tokens can be scams, smart contracts can have bugs, networks can stop or fork, and sites you connect to can be malicious. Only approve requests you understand, and only use money you can afford to lose.

## 10\. Things you may not do

- Use the wallet for anything illegal, including fraud, money laundering, sanctions evasion or market manipulation.
- Attack, overload or misuse TOLLkit’s servers, or get around rate limits or fees.
- Pretend to be TOLLkit, or use the wallet to mislead others.

## 11\. Changes

We may update, change or stop any part of TOLLkit Wallet. We may update these terms; the new version will be posted here with a new effective date, and continuing to use the wallet after that means you accept it.

## 12\. No warranty

TOLLkit Wallet is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, including that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure, to the fullest extent the law allows.

## 13\. Limits on our liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, TOLLkit isn’t liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for lost profits, lost funds or lost data, arising from your use of the wallet, outside services, or the blockchain. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the greater of the fees you paid TOLLkit in the 12 months before the claim or US$100.

## 14\. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, USA. If you have a problem, email [hello@tollkit.dev](mailto:hello@tollkit.dev) first and we’ll try to resolve it within 30 days. Any dispute that isn’t resolved will be heard in the state or federal courts located in Maryland, and you and TOLLkit agree to their jurisdiction.
