In short: no account needed. Each paid call has a fixed price in USDC, shown in a quote before you pay, and you pay it from your own wallet with the x402 protocol. A call that fails isn’t charged. Payments on the blockchain are final. Answers come from public data, outside services and AI, so they can be wrong or late; check what matters before you rely on it.
1. Who we are and this agreement
TOLLkit is made by Tollkit LLC, a Maryland limited liability company (“TOLLkit”, “we”). By calling a TOLLkit tool, directly or through an AI agent acting for you, you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy. If you don’t agree, don’t use the tools. Questions: hello@tollkit.dev.
2. Who can use the tools
You must be at least 18 and able to agree to these terms, or be a business acting through someone who is. You may not use the tools if you are on a U.S. sanctions list, are owned or controlled by someone who is, or are in a country or region under comprehensive U.S. sanctions, such as Cuba, Iran, North Korea, or the Crimea, Donetsk and Luhansk regions of Ukraine. The service refuses requests from those regions. If an AI agent calls the tools for you, you’re responsible for what it does with them.
3. Prices and payment
- Fixed price per call. Each tool’s price is listed on the tools page and in every quote. A paid tool called without a payment returns only a quote; nothing is charged.
- You pay from your own wallet. You sign each payment yourself, in USDC on Base or Solana, using the x402 protocol. TOLLkit never holds your keys or a balance for you and can’t start a payment.
- Failed calls are free. If a call can’t be answered, for example a page that won’t load or an unknown ticker, the payment isn’t settled.
- Payments are final. A settled payment is a blockchain transaction and can’t be reversed. If you believe you were charged for a call that didn’t answer, email hello@tollkit.dev with the transaction ID and we’ll look into it.
- Free trial. Some tools give a few free calls a day through the MCP server, as described on the tools page. We may change or end the trial.
- Price changes. We may change prices. A change applies only to calls quoted after it.
4. What you get
Tools return information gathered at the moment you call: pages read in a browser, search results, public government data, blockchain data, market data from outside services, and in some tools a summary or short read written by AI (Claude, made by Anthropic). Each answer names its sources. That information can be incomplete, delayed or wrong, outside services can change or stop, and AI-written text can be mistaken. Check anything important before relying on it.
5. Not financial advice
Nothing the tools return is investment, financial, legal or tax advice. Token checks, pre-trade checks, market data, price history and news reads report facts and coverage; they are not ratings, recommendations or forecasts, and no warnings doesn’t mean a token is safe.
6. Outside sources and their terms
Some answers come from services TOLLkit doesn’t run, such as Serper, the SEC, the National Weather Service, MET Norway, the FAA, the U.S. Census Bureau, the European Central Bank, DB-IP, Hyperliquid, Alternative.me, Chainlink and public blockchain endpoints. Where an answer carries a source credit or notice, such as the Fear & Greed Index by Alternative.me, IP geolocation by DB-IP, or the Census Bureau notice, keep it with the data if you show that data to others. We aren’t responsible for those services’ availability, accuracy or decisions.
7. Things you may not do
- Use the tools for anything illegal, including fraud, sanctions evasion or market manipulation.
- Ask the tools to read, capture or attest pages you have no right to access, or use them to get around a site’s login, paywall or access controls.
- Present a page proof as something it isn’t, or alter one.
- Attack, overload or misuse TOLLkit’s servers, or get around prices, rate limits or the free-trial limits.
- Resell TOLLkit’s answers in a way that breaks the terms of the sources they came from.
We may refuse or block requests that break these rules.
8. Changes
We may add, change or stop any tool. We may update these terms; the new version will be posted here with a new effective date, and calling a tool after that means you accept it.
9. No warranty
The tools are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, including that they will be uninterrupted, accurate or error-free, to the fullest extent the law allows.
10. Limits on our liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, TOLLkit isn’t liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for lost profits, lost funds or lost data, arising from your use of the tools or the information they return. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the greater of the amounts you paid TOLLkit for tool calls in the 12 months before the claim or US$100.
11. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, USA. If you have a problem, email hello@tollkit.dev first and we’ll try to resolve it within 30 days. Any dispute that isn’t resolved will be heard in the state or federal courts located in Maryland, and you and TOLLkit agree to their jurisdiction.
